Accreditation

Clackamas Community College is proud to have achieved and maintained formal accreditation through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Our community college is recognized as an institution with high standards for performance, integrity and quality to merit the confidence of the educational community and the public.

This accreditation, from an independent, nonprofit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, represents our voluntary and conscientious commitment to quality assurance and institutional improvement. Our most recent accreditation review in spring 2023 resulted in the following commendations and recommendations for improvement.

What we've learned:

We are excited about the next phase of our continuous improvement process while providing quality education to meet the needs of students and the community.
