Clackamas Community College welcomes students from around the world
CCC is a public, two-year institution located 15 miles south of Portland, Oregon in Oregon City. With a small town atmosphere that is minutes from the largest city in Oregon, CCC offers international students a broad introduction to life in the United States while earning an excellent college education.
Do You Need English Language Training?
Students who need to improve their English language skills can enroll in the Program for Intensive English (PIE), which provides language instruction to prepare students for college-level courses. The program offers classes for all skill levels. Students at the advanced level may co-enroll in some college classes outside of the PIE. Upon completing the PIE, students are guaranteed admission to the college. For more information about the PIE, please email Tina Nikolopoulos, konstantinan@clackamas.edu.
Are You Ready for College?
Students can complete a variety of degree and certificate programs at an affordable cost-about half the cost of university programs. Many CCC students earn a two-year associate’s degree before transferring to a university for the final two years of a bachelor’s degree. CCC students who earn this degree may enter one of Oregon’s four-year universities as a third-year student. CCC also offers a co-admissions program and partners with other four-year institutions in the state. Apply to CCC’s international program
We are excited to consider you for admission to CCC’s International Program. Please follow the links below to complete the application process.
- Access and complete the admissions application
- If you are transferring to CCC from another school within the U.S., please send the International Student Transfer Questionnaire to your advisor.
- If you have a sponsor supporting you financially, please have them complete the International Admissions Financial Sponsor Information Form.
- Submit the $50 application fee.
- If currently outside the U.S., you can pay the application fee using Flywire.
- If currently in the U.S.: you can mail payment with completed application to the address below or visit Registration and Records at the address below.

The costs are estimated for the 2023-24 academic year and reflect the nine-month school year.

International student applicants are required to submit official bank documents, dated within three months of applying, to show they have the funds available to cover all expenses during their first year at CCC. Actual costs will vary. Students are welcome to apply for scholarships. In order to apply for a scholarship at CCC, students must have a CCC ID number. Once accepted to CCC, our office can send you your CCC ID number. If you are interested in applying for a CCC scholarship, please visit our Scholarships page.

Following the rules of holding a student visa, maintaining status, is very important. Below are some basic guidelines all international students should follow. If you are unable to maintain status, contact our office immediately. There may be resources available to assist you during difficult situations. However, we must know about the issue as soon as possible in order to assist you.
Maintaining Your Student Visa Status
There are a lot of ways to get involved at CCC. We offer a variety of clubs, sports and social events to help you connect with other students. Visit our Campus Life page to explore ways to get involved outside of the classroom.
The Multicultural Center
The Multicultural Center celebrates the diversity of our students and offers support services and educational opportunities. The center provides a comfortable atmosphere for all students to gather, take part in cultural activities, study, pray, and learn.
Associated Student Government
The members of CCC's Associated Student Government sp;(ASG) have a passion for serving others. They spend the year coordinating services and activities at the college and representing the student body at the college levels.
