Integrated Pest Management

Integrated pest management is a strategy that combines sanitation and cultural, biological and mechanical controls to reduce pest populations. Examples include using pest-resistant plants, maintaining landscapes and spraying. Integrated pest management decides the best course of action for pest control while reducing the environmental and economic impacts.

The college will provide 24-hour notice of planned pesticide applications. The notice will remain in effect for 72 hours post-application, except in cases of emergency.

    Staff will be applying CrossRoads EPA No. 42750-124 to treat brush and poison oak on the Oregon City campus. Re-entry after application is dry.
