Study Abroad in Costa Rica

Take your education beyond the classroom walls. Apply your learning while immersing yourself in the culture and wonders of Costa Rica. Clackamas Community College now offers a class that ends with a two-week study abroad trip in Cartago, Costa Rica this December. This course counts toward one of four different areas of study at CCC.

This experience is offered through Cross-Cultural Solutions. During the Costa Rica portion of the program, you will live in the town of Cartago, a historic, bustling city near the foothills of the Irazu Volcano National Park. You will choose a volunteer assignment supporting under-resourced organizations in the city. Volunteers work with vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly and those with special needs.

Trip dates: December 1-15, 2018
