Integrated Pest Management

Integrated pest management is a strategy that combines sanitation and cultural, biological and mechanical controls to reduce pest populations. Examples include using pest-resistant plants, maintaining landscapes and spraying. Integrated pest management decides the best course of action for pest control while reducing the environmental and economic impacts.

The college will provide 24-hour notice of planned pesticide applications. The notice will remain in effect for 72 hours post-application, except in cases of emergency.

    Aug. 31-Sept. 30 Pesticide Application (Oregon City)

    On Tuesday, Aug. 31 to Thursday, Sept. 30 from 7 a.m.-2 p.m., staff will be applying Ranger Pro EPA No. 524-517 to control weeds and grasses in bed areas of the Oregon City campus. Specific dates will be noted on campus postings. Re-entry after application has dried.
