Music Performances at CCC
Each year, CCC’s Music Department offers dozens of opportunities to hear live music performed by students, faculty, guest artists and ensembles of all sizes. We hope you’ll join us and support our talented students. Support local musicians by attending any one of our events.

Admission
Admission is free for CCC students; seat reservation required through Eventbrite. Admission is $5 for the public. (Performers do not need a ticket.)

Music Concerts
Enjoy an evening of jazz with the CCC Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo, directed by Lars Campbell and Charlie Doggett. The program includes selections from Duke Ellington's "Nutcracker Suite" and jazz standards such as John Coltrane's "Mr. P.C." and Lee Morgan's "Ceora." These performances highlight the talent of CCC students and the energy of classic and contemporary jazz.
Join us in the Osterman Theatre in the Niemeyer Center. Doors open at 7 P.M., and the performance begins at 7:30 P.M.

The Contemporary Music Ensemble, comprised of Cloud Nine, Sour Diesel Surprise, and Funked Out Weasels, brings a vibrant mix of modern rock, pop, and funk to the stage. Directed by Kathleen Hollingsworth and Kevin Deitz, the concert will feature pieces such as Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life," System of a Down's "Tentative," Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely," and All Time Low's "Dear Maria (Count Me In)."

The CCC Wind Ensemble and Classical Guitar Ensemble will perform a varied selection of classical and contemporary works. Conducted by Lars Campbell and David Tutmark, the program features John Williams' "Midway March," Ralph Vaughan Williams' "English Folk Song Suite," and Danny Elfman's "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Additional highlights include guitar arrangements of "Every Breath You Take" and "Sweet Dreams."

The CCC Vocal Ensemble and Advanced Vocal Ensemble (AVE), directed by Kathleen Hollingsworth, present a seasonal program of choral music. Selections include Ola Gjeilo’s "Ave Generosa," John Mayer’s "Stop This Train," and a combined choir finale featuring "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year." This event will highlight the artistry and versatility of CCC's vocal students.
