Dr. Tim Cook has nearly 30 years of experience working in higher education as an advisor, counselor, faculty member and administrator. A native of Oregon City, he joined Clackamas Community College as its president in 2018. A first-generation college student, President Cook understands how community colleges provide economic mobility for students and the communities where they live.
He has a lifelong passion of helping college students achieve their dreams and works each day to remove barriers so students can be successful.
Vice President of Instruction and Student ServicesDavid C. Plotkin supervises all the instructional deans at the college and oversees all instructional, workforce development, academic support and student services programs. He came to CCC after 16 years at Marylhurst University where he held various positions including chair of the Department of English Literature and Writing, faculty lead for implementing course management software and pedagogical principles of online learning and vice president of Academic Affairs.
Vice President of College Services
Alissa Mahar manages College Services, which includes business and campus services, information technology, college safety, the bookstore and human resources. She brings experience in public government, most recently as executive director of finance (CFO) and business operations for the Portland Bureau of Transportation. Her previous work includes working as the CFO and business manager for the Portland Housing Bureau and chief administrative manager for Portland Fire and Rescue.
Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement
Paul Moredock directs College Relations and Marketing as well as the CCC Foundation and Clackamas Repertory Theatre, supervising creative services, public information and annual, major, corporate and planned gifts. With over 20 years in higher education, Paul has experience as an instructor, Associate Dean, Assistant Vice President and Vice President for various northwest colleges. He has a Master of Science degree in Counseling, with a license in Marriage, Family, and Child counseling.
