Welcome to CCC

Clackamas Community College has an open-door general admission policy, which means if you want to earn your education through us, we’re glad to have you. CCC does not require a Social Security Number (SSN) for admission and does not use the SSN for identification purposes for students in general. Our Admissions Center is here to help you get started! Know your rights

You have the right to:

  • Not open a door to law enforcement.
  • Ask to see a search warrant without opening a door.
  • Remain silent.
  • Speak with a lawyer.
  • Not sign any document before speaking with a lawyer.

Your rights at CCC

The college strictly follows the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which pertains to the privacy and confidentiality of your directory information and academic record.

  • Directory information includes enrollment status, verification of certificate or degree award, residency status (where you currently live), major and athletic participation.
  • The college does not ask or require of students your immigration status or that of your family.
  • The college will not release non-directory (see above) information unless legally compelled to do so or if you have provided consent to do so.
  • Non-directory information will be provided as required for international students on an I-20.
  • Campus safety officers do not have the authority to and will not enforce federal immigration laws.
