Jun 16 2023
2023 Commencement Ceremony
Clackamas Community College will be holding the commencement ceremony on Friday, June 16, 2023 for the 2022-2023 academic year. More information will be coming. Check back soon!
Ceremony details
CCC is hosting a walk-thru graduation procession for our graduates on our Oregon City campus June 16, 2023, 4-6 p.m.
- This ceremony is open to all summer 2022, fall 2022, winter 2023 GED, Adult High School, college degree and certificate graduates and spring 2023 applicants for graduation, as well as any student who plans to graduate in summer of 2023 and does not wish to wait for the 2024 ceremony.
- Friends and family can walk with their graduate(s) together up to the stage and have a front row seat while their graduate(s) walks across the stage.
- Graduates will pick up their caps, gowns, tassels, honor cords and some cool CCC swag prior to the event. Honor cords will be provided to students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above as of winter 2023 or last term attended and graded.
Students can view their unofficial transcript online via Self-Service to check their cumulative GPA.
At the event, graduates will have the opportunity to:
- Have their name announced
- Receive a CCC diploma cover
- Walk across the stage
- Have a professional graduation photo taken
- Be congratulated by President Cook
- Be celebrated by CCC Board Members, faculty and staff
Registration to attend the ceremony
Information regarding registering for the ceremony, cap and gown information and further ceremony details will be sent in an email to students in April. Keep checking this website as it will get updated periodically.
Reminder: If you have not applied for graduation yet, you need to complete the Application for Graduation form online through Self-Service to have your degree/certificate awarded officially by the college. This is the official process for notifying CCC that you are finishing your program. This is separate from registering to attend the Commencement Ceremony. Review the applying for graduation steps to complete the process. The due date for spring 2023 applications for graduation is May 12, 2023.
If you have questions in regards to the Commencement Ceremony, email gradceremony@clackamas.edu.
