Integrated Pest Management

Integrated pest management is a strategy that combines sanitation and cultural, biological and mechanical controls to reduce pest populations. Examples include using pest-resistant plants, maintaining landscapes and spraying. Integrated pest management decides the best course of action for pest control while reducing the environmental and economic impacts.

The college will provide 24-hour notice of planned applications. The notice will remain in effect for 72 hours post-application, except in cases of emergency.

    Pesticide Application to take place at the Home Orchard Education Center between Nov. 7 and Dec. 31. The following products will be applied:

    OMNI Supreme Oil 
    EPA reg#: 5905-368
    Re-entry interval: 12 hours

    To Jan 4

    Pesticide application Dec. 4-Jan. 4 (Wilsonville, Harmony and Oregon City campuses)

    We will be using Ranger Pro EPA# 524-517 on the Wilsonville, Harmony and Oregon City campuses between Dec. 4 and Jan. 4 to control weeds and grasses in the bed areas. Signage will be posted in the areas to be treated 24 hours prior to treatments. Re-entry when dry.
