Integrated Pest Management

Integrated pest management is a strategy that combines sanitation and cultural, biological and mechanical controls to reduce pest populations. Examples include using pest-resistant plants, maintaining landscapes and spraying. Integrated pest management decides the best course of action for pest control while reducing the environmental and economic impacts.

The college will provide 24-hour notice of planned applications. The notice will remain in effect for 72 hours post-application, except in cases of emergency.

    October 1st-November 1st (Oregon City, Wilsonville and Harmony campuses)

    Tuesday, October 1st through Friday, November 1st we will be using SpeedZone EPA# 2217-833 to control broadleaf weeds in the turf on all three campuses as weather allows. Signage will be posted in the areas to be treated 24 hours prior to the treatment.  Safe re-entry when dry.

    October 17th-November 17th Weed Control Application (Oregon City, Wilsonville and Harmony campuses)

    We will be using Ranger Pro EPA# 524-517 to control weeds and grasses in the beds October 17th- November 17th on all three campuses. We will post signage in the areas to be treated 24 hours prior . Re- entry when dry.
