Degree Partnerships
If your goal is a four-year degree, Clackamas Community College can help you get there! CCC's dual admissions program called Degree Partnerships, allows you to be jointly admitted and enrolled at CCC and one of our partner universities.
The Degree Partnership program allows you to enroll in both schools at the same time and take classes at both institutions. Your financial aid is awarded by one school for your total credits taken at both. Your transcript information is automatically sent to the partner university.
This program is a great option for a smooth transition to a four-year university and it allows you to experience the unique benefits that each institution offers. Save money and experience the great classes at CCC!
What are the benefits for Degree Partnership students?
- Complete one application and pay one application fee for enrollment.
- Access student services, like coordinated financial aid and academic advising at both institutions.
- Maximize your credit transfer.
- At the end of each term, CCC sends an official transcript to your university. This ensures your credit is transferred as soon as possible. Note: We cannot send an official transcript if there is a financial or equipment hold on your account.
How does financial aid work for Degree Partnership students?
If you are seeking financial aid under the Degree Partnerships program, you can combine your credits from each institution to be considered a full-time student under federal reporting guidelines.
You will work with CCC and the partner university's financial aid office to designate which school will be considered your "home school" and which school will be the partner school. The home school will distribute your financial aid. You must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at your home school to receive financial aid benefits.
