The Art Department gives students opportunities to explore their artistic potential and develop critical thinking skills with a creative mindset. Our foundational and intermediate classes serve college transfer students and all individuals who seek to develop ideas in two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. The Art Department offers courses in:

We also offer a multidimensional exploration of Digital Media. Students interested in Digital Media Communications can explore courses in motion graphics, computer animation, digital film, broadcast journalism
The Digital Media Communications program is a two year Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS). This degree is designed to effectively prepare you for a career in the expanding field of digital media. Once you have chosen a focus area there are plenty of opportunities to explore other fields of training and study due to our generous offering of elective courses. Our focus areas include Motion Graphics & Computer Animation, Video Production, Journalism. Web Design, Publishing, Audio & Sound Engineering and Music & Sound for Media.
