Clackamas Community College's Career Technical Education Licensure Prep Certificate program is designed to equip both career changers and experienced professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive as a CTE instructor.

Whether your goal is to work in a middle school, high school or community college, our program provides the foundation you need to be successful in the classroom and meet the requirements of the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) for licensure six CTE career areas.

Clackamas Community College offers some of the lowest tuition rates in the Portland metro area. To begin building the cost for your program, you can start with the base estimate below. 

This estimate includes the cost of tuition and the general fees applied per class and per academic term. This estimate does not include additional fees required for many courses or the cost of course materials. Contact the program to learn more about additional costs that may apply.

STEP 02

Register for the courses that meet your licensing requirements

We recommend meeting with our CTE license advisor to choose your classes, but you can also review our list of CTE Licensure Course offerings (PDF) to help with your planning. 

STEP 03

Get your CCC student ID card

To receive a student ID card, you will need a photo ID and must be a currently enrolled student. Student ID cards are free. There is a $10 replacement fee for stolen or lost cards. Use your student ID card for library checkout, textbook rentals from the CCC bookstore and to access computer/tutor labs.

Get your ID card at one of our three campuses:

  • Oregon City campus, Wacheno Welcome Center, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Wilsonville campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Harmony campus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
