Clackamas Community College's commencement is June 14
OREGON CITY – Clackamas Community College will celebrate its 2024 graduates at a commencement ceremony on June 14 for students earning degrees and certificates, Adult High School diplomas and General Educational Development (GED) certificates.
This year, Clackamas Community College is awarding 1,264 degrees and certificates, and 203 GEDs and Adult High School diplomas. The youngest graduate is 17 and the oldest is 75. Five-hundred-eighty-three graduates were on the honor roll, earning a cumulative grade point average between 3.5 and 3.74, 376 made the President's List earning a GPA between 3.75 and 4.0, and 129 are graduating with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
"Our graduates are not only students, but they are also parents, workers, caregivers, veterans, starting new or starting over,"" CCC President Dr. Tim Cook said. "Graduating from college is no small feat. It takes dedication, persistence and grit. We are proud of this year's graduates."
The commencement ceremony begins at 4 p.m. and takes place outdoors (rain or shine) by the Holden Industrial Technology Center on the Oregon City Campus, 19600 Molalla Ave. For more information, visit CCC's Graduation webpage.
