August Hemlock

August Hemlock is an artist and costume designer whose work includes theatre, opera, film, drag, cosplay, and burlesque costuming. They received a Bachelor’s in Art and Theatre from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, before going on to complete their MFA in Costume Design and Production at Tulane University. August is a recent transplant to Oregon and is very excited to have joined the team at Clackamas Community College. Prior to joining Clackamas Community College, they worked with several theatre companies including The New Orleans Shakespeare Festival, Summer Lyric, Southern Rep, and Theatre For the New South. August also has a small, angry black cat named Beetle.
