Guadalupe Martinez

Guadalupe (lupe) has been a retention counselor at Clackamas Community College for 25 years. Prior to CCC, lupe worked as a drug and alcohol treatment counselor in outpatient settings, before transitioning to academic counseling and retention in higher education. Lupe has extensive experience and enjoys working with students who require support with intercultural adaptation, issues and communication, and first generation student transition to college life. Lupe holds a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Oregon State University, and has received trainings in suicide prevention, career counseling and intercultural counseling.
