Renew-It

A six-month training program in renewable energy and industrial maintenance technology

The Renew-It Program provides financial support to eligible students pursuing a certificate in Renewable Energy or Industrial Maintenance Technology. Unemployed and underemployed adults will gain the academic and career skills necessary to gain employment in the high demand industry of Renewable Energy.

Earn an Energy Systems Maintenance Technician certificate and learn how to diagnose and repair electromechanical systems through our six-month training program. This certificate is a quick path to entry-level careers in manufacturing, and installation and maintenance of renewable energy production (solar, wind, geothermal). Renew-It is funded by a federal grant from the Department of Labor (DOL) to support students with the full cost of tuition, textbooks, tools, course materials, and fees for industry recognized credentials.

Through Renew-It, we can provide:

  • Subsidized educational/training opportunities in renewable energy careers
  • Career readiness training
  • Employment counseling and job search assistance
  • One-on-one advising
