Other Credit Option
No matter where you may be in your academic career, Clackamas Community College offers a variety of ways to earn college credits. If you're still in high school but interested in gaining early college credit, or looking to transfer your military training and experience into a degree program, we can help. If your goal is to apply exam results to credit, we can facilitate that too. There are numerous options available.
Other Credit Options
Clackamas Community College offers five college credit programs specifically designed for high school students. Each program requires a contract with a high school and/or school district. Students may participate in the programs based upon their high school's participation.

Students who have completed college work in high school under the AP program are eligible to receive college credit based on their exam scores. To be awarded credit for Advanced Placement exams, students must submit an official AP exam score to Graduation Services. Students will be awarded credit based on the evaluation standards on the date the scores were received.
Students may request official AP transcripts by following the instructions on the College Board website.

Students who have completed a CLEP exam may be eligible for college credit. To be awarded credit for CLEP exams, students must submit an official exam score to Graduation Services. CLEP credits will be noted on your Clackamas transcript and may be applied toward course equivalencies, program requirements and degree completion. Students will be awarded credit based on the evaluation standards on the date the scores were received.

Clackamas Community College’s Credit for Prior Learning program can award college credit for knowledge and skills acquired outside the classroom.

Students who complete International Baccalaureate (IB) exams are eligible to receive college credit based on the exam score. To be awarded credit for International Baccalaureate exams, students must submit an official exam score to Graduation Services. Students will be awarded credit based on the evaluation standards on the date the scores were received.
Students may request official IB transcripts by following the instructions on the International Baccalaureate website.

Clackamas Community College accepts credit for military training and/or occupations that have been reviewed and recommended for college level credit through the American Council on Education (ACE). CCC may award credit based on those ACE recommendations as well as from the appropriate department. Transfer of credits into specific degree programs may be done in coordination with individual departments.
Sailor/Marine/Army transcripts may be requested to be sent electronically to gradservices@clackamas.edu from JST.
Air Force students contact the Community College of the Air Force and follow the instructions on Transferring to CCC page to submit official transcripts.

Clackamas Community College accepts the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) when an official transcript is submitted through the American Council of Education (ACE). CCC will grant four credits of electives when an official transcript is submitted.
